Not All the Same - breaking stereotypes, educating the campus community and uniting graduate students.

Not All the Same is a graduate student-led initiative which aims to highlight the unique experiences that shape the diverse group of graduate students at Western University. By doing this, Not All the Same hopes to connect graduate students to community resources, educate the Western community on the unique experiences graduate students share outside of their academic involvement and how these differences influence their graduate studies.

Bi-monthly a graduate student experience will be profiled by sharing testimonies from students who resonate with that experience. Students will share how their experience influences their day to day activities at Western, what resources they find helpful and what resources they would like to see. This information will be shared campus-wide along with a list of resources. We hope graduate faculty disseminate this information in their departments. This webpage will also be updated to showcase the current experience and all past experiences will be archived. Also look out for updates on graduate student events related to the experience being profiled. Thank you for visiting the Not All the Same webpage, please navigate through our graduate student experiences to explore what goes on beyond a graduate student’s academic experience.
